The season

What fills Sabbaday Falls, and when

Sabbaday Brook runs the White Mountains melt calendar, biggest mid April through June, and funnels it through a narrow flume that makes even modest flow dramatic. The Forest Service charges its fee spring through fall and drops it in winter, per the site page.

Typical best flow: Mid April through June
